We have been involved with Weimaraner's in New Zealand since 1990. Our first Weimaraner in 1990, "Duke" was a Rescue, we adopted him with the intention of training him for use "Duck Shooting, Quail and Pheasents". Soon after we acquired another Weimaraner bitch "Tess" with papers and thus began my love of showing…….
Silvastorm is an NZKC Registered breeder of Weimaraner's, located on 15 acres, of the Picturesque West Coast of the South Island, New Zealand. We breed occasionally for ourselves. Over the years we have imported dogs from Australia with the intention of adding to the small gene pool here in New Zealand. We have also invested in semen from Quality Sire's from around the Globe and have it stored in both NZ & Australia for our future use. All our Breeding Stock is health tested prior to breeding. The future for Silvastorm Weimaraner's is looking very bright with lots of exciting things planned!!!
In years gone by whilst living in Nelson I served as Secretary for the "Nelson District Kennel Association" & Secretary/Treasurer for the "Seddon District Gundog Society".
Member of "The Weimaraner Club of America", the "Tasman District Gundog Society" & the "West Coast Kennel Association".
